Remix The Album
Just as Life is Moving, so is this album. We never created art for it to be locked away, art is a conversation, and so this is a call out to the remixer and dj community to announce a major competition held in association with our partner, DC Shoe Company.
All of the stems from Life is Moving are being released under a Creative Commons license for the producer community to download disseminate and remix.
But that’s just the first step. The DJ community is then welcomed to download the finished remixes for free fromwww.electricsoundcompany.com to include in their mix on www.mixcloud.com
The most played tracks by dj’s on Mixcloud will win the remix competition, whilst the DJ competition will be won by the DJ with the most listens. The winners will work with The Electric to create a special EP that will be released for charity later on in the year, and will perform with The Electric at a special DC event later in the year.
